About This Project

Established in 1901 to represent the interests of BC’s mining industry, the Mining Association of British Columbia (MABC) is one of the oldest industry associations in the province. MABC represents the collective needs and interests of operating coal, metal and industrial mineral mining companies. In doing so, it has come to be regarded as the predominant voice of mining in British Columbia.

MABC approached Brink Events in late 2014 to help with an upcoming event happening at the BC Legislature. The day-long series of talks and workshops was to be followed by an upscale social reception for top CEOs, government officials, and politicians in the industry. Brink Events was successfully and seamlessly able to integrate a mining theme into an elegant soiree that consisted of personalized canapes and food stations, full host bar, custom event lighting, themed decor and floral, event signage, and extravagant entertainment. Both guests and client were extremely happy with the outcome of this evening reception.

Whispers. Chatter. Conversations. We’re starting to hear people talk about events again…

Though the excitement is undeniable, we’re still practicing cautious optimism. But things are changing and improving, and the future looks promising. But just to let you know…

Brink Events is still around. We haven’t gone anywhere.

In fact, we’re more excited than ever about the event industry as we move forward. We truly believe that humans thrive on social interaction and engagement, and it’s been sorely missed. We can’t wait for the day we’re able to bring everyone back together.

Though we don’t have a specific timeline for the return, we want to open conversations. Please reach out to us if you have an event in mind or any questions. We have no doubt that things are going to get busy, so we want to start the dialogue now. We can’t wait to hear from you.

All the best and stay safe.

Sincerely,
Brink Events
