28 Oct Brink Events Reflections – October 2016
Fall is upon us and as the days get shorter, we reflect back on an amazing year so far and we look forward to an incredible 2017…
2016 has turned out to be a monumental year for Brink Events. We’ve taken on new and exciting projects and clients, and we’ve cultivated our annual event portfolio. New clients include Bridges for Women, Christ Church Cathedral School, and RE/MAX. We’ve also won 2 major awards – Readers’ Choice “Favourite Event Planner – Independent” by Canadian Special Events, and Aidan Henry was named Top 20 Under 40 for Vancouver Island.
The epic success of Dîner En Blanc Victoria continues, and we’ve been fortunate to work with Bayview Place, the Island Prostate Centre, and the Victoria Cool Aid Society (among others) on repeat events.
Our most recent endeavours include an executive event for Western Forest Products and an exclusive showcase for RE/MAX showcase which garnered widespread media exposure. This past weekend, Brink Events co-ordinated the Teen Summit, a major event in Los Angeles at the UCLA campus for over 1,200 kids on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs in the area. Next up, we have an exclusive Robert Bateman Foundation fundraiser and painting unveiling at a private home, and we’re working on our next House of Distinction event. Stay tuned!
With the Christmas season on the horizon and an already-packed 2017, the fun never stops. And why should it when you get to plan amazing parties!
All the best… and keep warm. We suggest whiskey to do so!
