“Soirée at Sea” 2024

The Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation approached Brink Events with an ambitious vision to create and produce an upscale, seaside gala from scratch. After a year of design and planning, we produced the inaugural “Soirée by the Sea”, a signature fundraiser on Saysutchun Island. From an inspiring idea to event execution, we worked closely with the Foundation to bring this vision to reality. It was a logistically challenging event, but we couldn’t be happier with the result. Raising over $200,000 (after costs), the Foundation was able to purchase 9 much needed perinatal beds for the maternity ward and the fundraiser created new cultivation opportunities and conversations with donors. It was an emotional, yet inspiring evening that changed the lives of many.
