The “Humanitas” Awards 2019

The UVic Faculty of Humanities approached Brink Events to create and produce a new awards gala honouring 3 individuals for their humanitarian work – a Public Humanist, an Emerging Humanist, and a Historical Humanist. The result was “Humanitas” – a highly successful, sold out first-year awards gala that not only pleased the eye and the palate, but also left the room with a new perception of the humanities and what it truly means to be a “human”.
